Description
In 1992, Ambeth R. Ocampo released Makamisa: The Search for Rizal’s Third Novel, wherein he details the painstaking research to authenticate the text, offering a rare look at the “Borrador incompleto del Noli Me Tángere”—a collection of drafts that led to establishing Makamisa as Rizal’s third novel . . . left unfinished.
Published during the 70th anniversary of the Rizal Law, Rizal Lost and Found: The Forgotten Drafts presents an updated edition featuring a new preface and a sampling of Rizal’s forgotten texts translated from the original Spanish and Tagalog, inviting a new generation of readers to Rizal’s unread legacy.
